The time is FINALLY near! Our 2023-2024 Riverwards Arts & Letters series comes to a grand finish in two months (!!) on November 8, 2024 (time TBD) with the release of THREE new chapbooks published by The Head & The Hand!

Over a year ago, H&H had the seed of an idea: to be a neighborhood hub where writers read and artists exhibit with an aim towards sparking collaborations and ultimately creating published works together. Since then, we formed a committee of mentors responsible for nominating local artists and writers. That small seed blossomed into us hosting three (!) Salons across five months that showcased nineteen (!!!) Riverwards-connected artists and writers. H&H Books was filled to capacity each Salon with all of you who came to witness nights of unique readings and visual exhibitons and celebrate our incredible showcasers.

At the end of those three Salons, H&H and the committee chose three artist-writer duos for publication. Over the past six months, those duos have collaborated on works of visual-written alchemy in the form of three chapbooks. 

Save the date for our chapbook release celebration on Nov. 8th at H&H Books, where we’ll have readings, artist talks, libations, chapbooks & prints for sale, and MORE! Plus, keep your eye out: we’ll be announcing our artist-writer pairs next week!
