Community Care Calendar

We’re opening up some reservations in our lower level workshop free of charge for folks who want to gather in a safe space in solidarity. We want this space to be used for things like trainings, meetings, activism, mindfulness and movement, crafting, and study. Rest and resilience are multitudinous! Please note that this reservation calendar will be entirely volunteer-run and will require reservations to be made at least 5 days in advance. We will do our best to honor requests but cannot guarantee availability.

Please Note: H&H Books is two levels. The street level is our retail bookstore space, and will not be available for community care reservations. Those reservations will take place in our lower level workshop space, which is equipped with a conference table, as well as a couch, and extra chairs for seating. Access to this space requires the use of a stairwell. To keep these spots free and volunteer-run, they will be minimally-staffed and browsing the retail space is not guaranteed. Additionally, any items your group brings in with them, including trash, must be brought out again. We do not have any outdoor trash storage.

Reservation Guidelines:

Community Care Calendar reservations are not intended for special event rentals such as proposals or parties, monetary purposes (aka selling or marketing books or other items), or public-facing events. Please do not reserve the space for public author readings, performances, or pop-ups. If you’re interested in hosting a public event at our space, please us this form to reach out to us. Thank you for respecting our space and these guidelines. H&H reserves the right to refuse any reservation that does not align with our community care guidelines.
